With an annual production of approximately 42,500 vehicles and around 5,700 employees, Schmitz Cargobull AG is Europe's leading manufacturer of semi-trailers, trailers and truck bodies for temperature-controlled freight, general cargo and bulk goods. In the 2021/2022 financial year, it achieved a turnover of almost 1.74 billion euros.

As a pioneer in the industry, the company from Münsterland developed a comprehensive brand strategy at an early stage and consistently set quality standards at all levels: from research, development, quality management systems, service contracts, trailer telematics, financing, spare parts supply and used vehicle sales. Schmitz Cargobull currently has eleven industrial production facilities.

Sales markets are all European countries, including Central and Eastern Europe, the Near and Middle East, China, Australia and Africa.
